Compensation: $70,000–$95,000 base DOE + uncapped commission

We are expanding our footprint throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth market and are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to help grow both our physical security and technology solutions business.

Position Overview
This is a field-based sales role focused on developing new business opportunities throughout the DFW Metroplex. You will meet directly with business owners, property managers, general contractors, facility managers, and operations leaders to identify security challenges and present tailored solutions.
This role goes beyond traditional guard sales. Candidates should be comfortable discussing integrated security offerings, including:
  • Guard staffing and patrol services
  • Remote camera monitoring
  • Mobile surveillance systems
  • Drone and autonomous security solutions
  • Off-duty law enforcement coverage
  • Technology-enhanced site protection strategies

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
  • Build relationships with property managers, construction firms, commercial operators, and industrial clients
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluate client security and operational needs
  • Present integrated security and technology solutions to prospective customers
  • Generate and follow up on leads from referrals, marketing campaigns, networking, and cold outreach
  • Maintain pipeline activity and customer engagement through CRM software (Pipedrive)
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to develop proposals and pricing solutions
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Represent CGS professionally at industry and networking events
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in outside sales, B2B sales, security sales, or technology solution sales preferred
  • Experience selling security cameras, access control, alarm systems, surveillance technology, or related low-voltage/security technology solutions is highly valued
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with in-person prospecting, networking, and cold outreach
  • Ability to understand customer operational challenges and recommend practical solutions
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required
  • Basic proficiency with CRM systems, email, and Google Workspace
  • Military, law enforcement, construction, security, or blue-collar industry backgrounds are highly valued
